Pioneering pre-hung doors in the Niagara Region

Our business traces its roots back to 1969 when we saw a way to make door installation quicker and easier for homeowners and builders in the Niagara region. Nestled on McSherry Lane, a quiet dead-end road in Fonthill, we introduced the concept of using pre-hung door units. Prior to this, carpenters had to painstakingly construct the framing on-site, using time that could be better spent elsewhere.

The concept of using pre-hung doors quickly gained popularity, and within two years, we outgrew our humble location and began construction on our second location on Highway 20, which was our home for the next 38 years. In 2009, we grew again, building and opening our current shop on Kottmeier Road, next to the intersection of Highway 406 and Highway 20.
